A place for South County to gather, learn and grow.
Coelho Ranch Foundation gives children, families and local organizations in South Monterey County a place to gather, explore nature’s classroom, and learn through hands-on sensory experiences on the beautiful Arroyo Seco.
One Ranch.
Many Organizations.
One Community.
Your support reaches far beyond Coelho Ranch.
The ranch serves as a shared community resource for nonprofits, schools, churches, youth programs, foster families, service organizations, and others working throughout South Monterey County.
Instead of every organization needing to create its own outdoor property, programs, and experiences, our partners can bring the people they already serve to the ranch.
When you support Coelho Ranch, you help many local organizations do more for the people they already serve.

Join us at the ranch and be part of what’s growing.
The use of Coelho Ranch has grown tremendously, and so has the responsibility of keeping it available. Our next challenge is sustainability.
That means caring for the property, maintaining safe and welcoming spaces, keeping qualified employees in place, carrying insurance, supporting community partnerships, expanding accessibility, and completing the projects already underway.
Your support helps us focus on three priorities:
— Keeping the ranch open: It takes approximately $270,000 each year to operate and maintain Coelho Ranch. That includes people, insurance, utilities, maintenance, equipment, repairs, groundskeeping, and the other essentials required to safely welcome our community. Donor support helps make that work possible, and we believe in being transparent about what it takes to operate the ranch and how those resources are used.
— Expanding accessibility and experiences: We want more children and adults to be able to participate. That means continuing to improve pathways, sensory learning spaces, accessible activities, equipment, and hands-on experiences throughout the ranch.
— Finishing what we’ve started: Several major improvements are already underway. Support helps us continue building the Sensory Trail and complete other priority projects that make the ranch more useful, accessible, and sustainable for the community.
Your support helps keep Coelho Ranch available to children, families, and organizations throughout South Monterey County.
Tickets are $75 per person and include dinner, the program, and ranch activities.
A note about Zeffy: You may see an additional contribution suggested by Zeffy during checkout. That amount is completely optional and does not go to Coelho Ranch Foundation. You may change it to $0.00 before completing your transaction.
